Yvan Lamothe is a self-taught, multifaceted artist who currently resides in New England.
Starting his journey into oil painting, Yvan soon perfected seascapes, patiently learning by spending hours admiring the ocean waves off the coasts of Maine and New Hampshire.
Depicting life in Haiti is where Yvan developed an eye for classical, realistic paintings of people who crossed paths with a youthful Yvan growing up in Port-au-Prince.
This is also where the seeds of infinite curiosity were planted regarding life, death, and the existence of meaning for all, leading him to explore complicated themes in a contemporary fashion.
From the meaning of Infinity to the Seeds of personality, Yvan's hand would paint his interpretation to share with all of humanity.
